I have just uploaded some new desktop wallpapers that frog design created for the European on AIR Tour. Here is a quick peak of them all:
on AIR Tour Wallpaper Black
You can grab different resolutions of the wallpapers from the tour’s google code project. I have also uploaded all of the original PSDs which you can download from here. (If you mash them up, or create new wallpapers, make sure to post a link in the comments).

We have just updated the on AIR tour site, with some new sessions from a couple of the engineers from the Adobe AIR Team. Ethan Malasky, Oliver Goldman and Chris Brichford will be joining the tour and speaking about using HTML and JavaScript within AIR applications, as well how to build secure AIR applications. Of course, they will also be hanging around all day and chatting and answering questions.

If you want to show your support for the on AIR Tour in Europe, you can place this badge (created by eboy) on your website:

Thanks to eBoy for the graphic.

Just a quick note, but we have created a facebook page for the on AIR European Tour. You can find out information about the tour, leave messages, and hook up with other developers attending.
Make sure to set yourself as a fan of the page if you are attending the tour, and leave a comment with which city you will be attending.
You can view the page here.
UPDATE: 2024. Apparently I never made the page public, so it actually never existed

As you may have noticed, we have just updated the on AIR tour website, with new cities, dates and information for the European leg of the tour.
Here are the cities:
Each event is a free full day event where you can learn everything you need to know to start building applications for Adobe AIR using Flash, Flex, JavaScript and HTML.

Andrew Shorten just announce at the Flash on the Beach Conference Keynote in Brighton, England that the on AIR Tour is heading to Europe. We are still finalizing some of the details, but the tour will cover 12 cities over 4 weeks (divided into two legs or 2 weeks each), and will be held in late Spring of 2008.
No bus this time (we couldn’t get the nerd smell out of it), so the European tour will be done via train.

The title pretty much says it all. We just wrapped up North America, where should we go next?

Tonight is the last stop of the North American leg of the on AIR Bus tour. We rolled into Chicago last night and will be holding an AIR Camp tonight at the MCA Warehouse. If you are in town for Adobe MAX, then come check out the events. We have tweaked the schedule a little so we have a little more time at the end for networking, beer and video games.

Lee Brimelow, who just this week joined Adobe as an Flash Platform evangelist, played a couple of pranks on Andre Charland during Andre’s sessions at AIR Camp New York City and Toronto. So, to get back, we decided to play a little prank on Lee yesterday at AIR Camp Toronto.
